Six Flags Entertainment Corp. (NYSE: SIX) is taking the incorporation of virtual reality technology with its thrill rides to a new level! This summer, the company, through a partnership with Samsung Electronics America Inc., will unveil a new Drop of Doom attraction at its Fiesta Texas theme park in San Antonio. This latest addition, the first of its kind in the country, is an adaptation of an existing Scream Tower Drop that will offer guests a new, virtual reality experience. Through the use of Samsung Gear VR equipment, riders will become pilots of a futuristic gunship under attack by giant mutant spiders.
