A gathering place tucked into the foothills, sernaded by the flow of Boulder Creek, the tea house is a local’s and tourist’s favorite alike. Built entirely by hand, the authentic structure arrived in crates after being dismantled in Dushanbe {doo-shan-bay’}, Tajikistan and has become a symbol for international friendship. Inside the Teahouse, there are 12 intricately carved cedar columns. These, were sent from Tajikistan with the original gift. No two columns are alike. It is an inviting and peaceful place to enjoy dozens of types of teas and eats while taking in the vibrant carvings and paintings that cover every inch of the delightful interior.
