Oyster Shucking is a long held tradition within coastal communities where oysters grow. It provides a wonderful and delicious opportunity to celebrate the oyster-harvesting season while providing a bit of amusement. Custom tables, providing a whole in the middle for tossing oyster shells, personalized shucking tools, called an Oyster knife, a blend of oysters to taste, and a bit of lowcountry music and one we have a Oyster Shucking soiree!  (photo credit – Tim Zielenbach)
