A California native who likes to call herself more New Yorker than Californian, Jema lived in Manhattan for over 20 years and has now returned to her California roots. Those years in NYC molded her ability to connect with every person she meets, able to jump into authentic conversations, may it be diving into a client’s key needs/goals, or what happened on the Real Housewives last night. She started her career in the dot com boom for a Media company and jumped into Operations for a small brokerage house, which led her to running a church plant in Harlem.  Throughout her career, creating unique moments from conferences to retreats to community fundraisers, there has been one common theme, “If we are going to be here, let’s have fun doing it.” She will be the first to crack a joke to break the ice in the right situation, but also the first to lend an ear on the worst days too.  

Jema loves grilling and hosting in her backyard, sitting on the beach, but most importantly loves long walks with a good friend, making sure to greet every cute dog she sees.
