President, Sales, Operations & Business Development
When Karen Cantrell joined RMC in 2011 she already had a strong foundation in event planning to build on. Karen started right out of college handling large donor events for her Alma Mater, Oklahoma State. Eventually she moved to Dallas where she participated in raising funds for the world-renowned Winspear Opera House. Karen quickly excelled at RMC, in both sales and program operations roles, thanks to her ability to understand and anticipate client needs and at the same time build and strengthen relationships with hotel and activity partners. In 2018, after spending a year as General Manager of three RMC offices, Karen was named Vice President of Sales & Operations. A year later, in 2019, Karen was named President, Sales, Operations & Business Development. She is responsible for driving RMC’s company-wide strategic plans for sales and operations.
When she’s not working, you can find Karen climbing mountains, running trails, crashing her mountain bike, riding horses or just soaking up the amazing sun wherever she is.
