Kristy arrived in Vail in 2001 with a B.S. in Hospitality from Illinois State University, and basically never left. After overseeing some of the community’s largest events, including what is now known as the GoPro Mountain Games and Vail’s Oktoberfest, Kristy transitioned into group sales. Over the past decade she has worked for Vail Cascade, Starwood’s Sheraton Denver Downtown, and most recently the Beaver Creek Lodge. During her stint in Denver, all the while commuting to Vail on the weekends, Kristy was recognized by Starwood as one of their North American Division Incentive Winners in 2011. Kristy prides herself on the relationships she builds with her clients and vendors, their trust in her, and ensuring her programs run smoothly from start to finish. On her days off in the summer, she can be found hiking mountain trails or floating the river, while in the winter, it is not unusual for Kristy to ski all day and then head out for a snowshoe later that afternoon!
