Matt Walsh joined RMC in 2016 after relocating to Park City from Rochester, NY, where he spent more than 15 years with a news media publishing company, including 8 years as the General Manager. As Data Manager on RMC’s Creative Development team he was responsible for managing the company-wide inventory of products – including activities, venues, restaurants and entertainment. In 2019, Matt was promoted to Director of Human Resources for RMC’s 60+ employees. While he understands the importance of workplace safety and employer compliance, his focus is on company culture – creating an employee-oriented, high-performance work environment that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and goal attainment. He borrows his workplace philosophy from Sir Richard Branson: “Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don’t want to.”
