Roman Menchikov

Senior Sales Manager

Park City / Salt Lake City

Russian born, Washington D.C. raised, Roman grew up with a love for mountains and adrenaline-filled sports.  After graduating college at the University of Maryland with a degree in Political Science, he was drawn to Park City for the mountains, to chase the snow, and figure out what he most wanted to do in life.  12 years later, he is still here joking that “this is my last year here”.  Career-wise, he has been intertwined in hospitality since his teens, working in restaurants, high-end catering companies in the D.C. area, and some of the luxury hotels in Park City – mostly focusing on event operations or planning.  He has also dabbled in teaching skiing and snowboarding for over a decade between Vermont, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Park City, specializing in teaching young kids to ski better than their parents.

Outside of work, he loves to travel, and he tries to visit a new country every year, he has been to most of Western Europe and half of Central America! His  “standouts” being Los Barriles, Mexico, and his most recent trip to San Juan Del Sur in Nicaragua.  He also dabbles in skiing, kite surfing/surfing, mountain biking, climbing, and ping pong.
