Just outside of Aspen, the village of Snowmass has undergone a ski town renaissance. In addition to a host of on-mountain improvements for skiers and snowboarders, the village also added the impressive Viceroy Snowmass resort, which brings some Aspen-quality luxury to the more low-key Snowmass mountain. Like other mountain resort towns in the West, Snowmass offers a wealth of activities year-round.
