The evening unfolded at Moreland Landing at Montage Palmetto Bluff, beginning with a memorable arrival by water taxi as guests stepped onto a lantern-lined dock. They were welcomed by the soulful harmonies of a local Gullah Choir, setting a deeply authentic Lowcountry tone from the moment they arrived. Beneath towering Spanish moss–draped trees, bistro lights glowed overhead, creating a warm, ethereal atmosphere. A classic oyster roast quickly became a guest favorite, with oyster shells artfully woven throughout the décor—from textured table runners to the custom bar front. The evening concluded with a charming trolley ride back to the hotel, offering a relaxed and nostalgic send-off to an unforgettable night.
